A Taste of France at Your Doorstep
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to have an authentic french crepe served with a piping cup of coffee in a cozy cafe? You don’t have to wonder anymore because Frogg Coffee Bar & Creperie located in Allen Texas is the perfect alternative. This location is a little France located right in the heart of Texas. This coffee bar and creperie has some of the most delicious beverages and desserts the area has to offer. Not only is the location aesthetically pleasing with a wooden interior, bar stools, and tables with colorful chairs but the desserts on display are sure to catch your eye and make your mouth water. This location will absolutely put your sweet tooth to bed. Selections from the menu include fresh fruit, nutella, and even savory selections of crepes. There is also a patio to sit and chat on making it the perfect spot for a social gathering. The area is even family friendly with a kids menu!
I ordered the strawberry and nutella crepe with extra whipping cream and a steaming cup of cappuccino. My first bit in, I was in love. The crepe was moist and crunchy on the edges. The nutella was ooey and warm, smothering the sweet and ripened strawberries. I didn't wait long for my crepe and found a nice seat next to a sunlit window. My table was clean and the servers were friendly and welcoming. My cappuccino was not too sweet and not bitter, the perfect in between. The barista was kind enough to even add latte art to my coffee making a beautiful swan with steamed milk. The overall atmosphere of this area was calming with mellow music playing lightly in the background. This area is perfect if you need a quiet location to study and enjoy a nice meal or to just get away and unwind.
Around the this area are plenty of shopping centers and areas to pass the time and wonder around into when you’re done with your meal. There is even murals to look at and a beautiful pond to view. Frogg Coffee Bar & Creperie is definitely worth a visit. I guarantee that you will feel like you traveled to france to grab some coffee and a fresh crepe made right in front of you to enjoy. This is also an amazing date spot if you’d like to wow your partner with a romantic dessert outing. I hope you get a chance to try this delicious location. You’ll thank me later!
